Re: Disappointment.

I see where the Underage side is thru. to a Grand Final So some talent there (subject to the AFL Draft) Retaining our core of competition class players and allowing some kids to develop alongside them may be the way to go Some young talent prepared to take the game on and showcase their skills So re...

Re: Round 13 v South Adelaide (Noarlunga) 19th September

In confirmation of some of the foregoing how many Minor Premierships have we won? Except for certain periods so post the Killigrew recruiting period which impacted on junior development and progression and the pre Basset period, making the finals has not been the problem The problem has been coming ...

Re: Round 13 v South Adelaide (Noarlunga) 19th September

Leaving aside the comments on the young lass who correctly came to International attention - climate change is the issue as I fear this summer may again highlight , this might just be the time to place the advertisement seeking a Coach at NFC With the reduced spending caps in the AFL there will be s...

Re: Norwood V Centrals 5th September at the Ponderosa Oval.August Coopers/Norwood Oval.

Well, there is the answer

And there are many questions to be answered

Usually such inconsistency unless a young side is down to disruption

So where is the disruption?

Administration?

Football department?

Among the players?

Time for the Board to address the on field performance

Re: Norwood V Centrals 5th September at the Ponderosa Oval.August Coopers/Norwood Oval.

From a distance, so qualifications. I assume there is a 14 game Minor Round (so every side playing the other sides twice) If I recall, after losing our first 3 games, we were 4 wins and 3 losses at the midway point of a (assumed) 14 game season, and sitting 4th on percentage. If that is the case, we...

Re: R7 Norwood Vs South

In going to the SANFL Website to have a look at the highlights, virtually all they are is players lining up for set shots on goal.

Surely they could do better?

Re: Vs North July 4th Adel Oval

No doubt losing both opening games puts the pressure on the Club - and from statistics it appears the losses have not been because we have not had our share of the ball so there may be an issue with usage (if you want to play a possession game you need elite disposal skills and you need elite fitnes...

The reference to AFL and wealth in the same sentence provides a laugh in these testing times

Re: 1978 Grand Final

In regard 1978, I recall looking at the Scoreboard and thinking we are only a couple of goals down - and plenty of points! The thought process was if we can level the goal tally the points will look after themselves because we grab 6 back with every goal And the last quarter started If we had not hi...
