Re: Team Selection 31st May v West Adelaide.

Interesting responses - and in no way surprising. We appear to live in a time of publicity, not questioning. No doubt the AFL publicity agenda drives the Mid-season draft, it keeps the product in the media with yet another headline. As noted, it is not about replenishing the List, Lists which are al...

Re: Team Selection 31st May v West Adelaide.

So West Adelaide (2), South Adelaide and Glenelg lose players

How vital are those players to those teams?

Or, more correctly, were they?

Re: Team Selection 31st May v West Adelaide.

Taheny is shown at 185 and 78 (as a 17 year old)

So Roger Woodcock size

Hardly a key forward hence defensive skills of even more importance

Has he grown to 196cm since the data went on the Club Website?

Given the reference to Glenn and noting the descriptions of his importance to the Club, where is his future with the Club?

Re: Josh Donohue.

On player resources I note Nunn has been mentioned in Press cover of the AFL Mid-season Draft

These Trades should be exclusively of players on current AFL Lists not randomly impacting other Leagues and Clubs

Are there any other Norwood players in the sights of AFL Clubs courtesy of this disruption?

Re: Player movements

So how are South Adelaide feeling re their Sandringham recruit Sydney is now showing interest in? Fortunately it was not Norwood who recruited him But it does introduce another dimension to recruiting and why the number of former AFL players targeted from Interstate (so not returning home) seems to ...

The size of crowds which attend SANFL matches would indicate that the crowds projected to attend the ladies game/s may have been wildly optimistic especially as the novelty wears off

Plus look at who is competing in these games

Re: Player movements

The upshot so far is that we have some gaps on our List from 2018 courtesy of those who have left for the reasons they have or retired Plus we have lost some youth - so progression from junior ranks is compromised The next thing is to fill the gaps over and above those so far recruited or returning ...

Re: Preliminary Final Debacle

The public debate is (correctly) inflamed by the comment as to the adequacy of the penalty under the Laws of the game by the judiciary including the judiciary saying their preferred resolution was to replay the game, a decision they were not able to deliver So unsatisfactory on all counts The pressu...

Re: Preliminary Final Debacle

"The maximum number of players permitted on the playing surface at the same time is 18 per team ..." North Adelaide have admitted they had 19 players on the playing field at the same time. This is the fundamental rule of AFL competition and regardless of any other Term or Condition surroun...

Re: 2nd Semi final v Eagles 9/9/18

A free kick count of 31-17

In a 5 point game, with the free kick count beneficiary the winner of the game.

I trust we are not as undisciplined next week.

Was there any perception of Umpire bias in favor of North Adelaide?
