Re: vs Centrals Friday Night, 20 May

Yes from memory when we are strong in the junior grades we tend to be up the top in the league.
During our 3peat a while ago now,
all the juniors teams were hot.

Re: Time to start planning for 2024

North Adelaide had a big club review not long before they knock us off in that GF in 2018.
Don’t want think about that again.
Someone on here said our U16’s only kicked 3 goals yesterday!

Re: Time to start planning for 2024

With the salary cap, long lead in season with time commitments it is difficult to retain mature experienced players these days. Plus the status of the league has fallen. Back in the day you would agree a team need 5-8 players that had passed 100 games in the best team to win a flag. I heard the othe...

Re: v Port Magpies 15/7

I notice the redleg ruckman is wearing red and blue socks.
So not a redleg.
Have we had a sock colour change this year?

Re: V Eagles 17/7

Some interesting comments there. I thought North Adelaide were awesome against us. They have been building now for a few weeks. Easily the best performance I have seen this year. IMHO they will win the flag, they have plenty of goal scoring options, a commanding team with plenty of experience. Hopef...

Re: Vs Eagles

Recruiting Let us down again or?

This will be 6 years without a flag.
I thought we were the best footy club outside the AFL.

Feels like I am Norwood living in 50/60’s again!

Re: Vs North July 4th Adel Oval

North’s best big man was injured early in the game too.
Every club gets injuries, that’s footy.
Coaches just have to manage it.

Re: Vs North July 4th Adel Oval

Yes I saw Pascoe star in David Oatey’s last game as coach when winning the U18 flag a few years ago.
He looked a potential top performer for the club.
As I remember there was also a top midfielder in that team that won the SANFL Topkins medal that year,
goodness know what happened to him.

Re: Vs North July 4th A

A perfect day for footy and no Norwood player could manage 2 goals.
A midfielder will probably win the top goal kicking award this year with under 15 goals.
Why can’t the club develop some young talls who can kick from our juniors?
Or do we just blame the game plan.

Re: Vs North July 4th Adel Oval

In a normal season that means 0 - 4.

Someone said our premiership to loose.

Season on the edge for sure.
Extremely disappointing performance again.

Surely this year a team really needs to finish the minor round 1 or 2 to win the flag.

Welcome to Nic Rokahr reminds me of

For all those that can remember,
he reminds me of John Vickers a utility player from the 50/60s.
All the best for a long and successful career at the parade Nic.
