I see our Red n Blue brothers in WA, West Perth, are experiencing a season that is
almost exactly the opposite of ours. Unlike us, they got off to a fantastic start with
4 wins on the trot and were laughing on top of the ladder. But since then they've really
struggled and are battling to hold just 6th position.
I wish The Falcons well, but unlike previous years, I'm sure glad our season IS the opposite of theirs.

West Perth are sitting on top of the WAFL ladder right now and only have to beat Perth this Saturday
to have achieved a clean sweep of wins against all opposition clubs !

WOOHOO !

I hope NFC have suitable talent scouts checking out all the WA cattle for us.

Yaaaaaay well done SABRE
Got home to some potentially good news about my other redlegged ones too. They are through to the grand final of the Magners League and play a derby style final against neighbouring province Leinster on May 28th. Should be able to watch it via the BBC website as well so going to have to get a few Caffrey's at the ready in the fridge

I take it we're talking about the 'Mighty Men of Munster' JAS ?
Looks like I'll just have to visit this place to watch the game ....

..... Just to feel a little authenticity and enjoy some local 'flavour', you understand

'Tis just another place to add to your long long list for 'Operation Wombat 2'

Yep that's my boys...and it won't clash with ours as we play Westies on the Friday night

Mmmmmm...that looks a good place to watch from...agree it'll have to go on the Op Wombat II list. Pity it's so far south of the CBD...475$ a week for 1 sounds pretty good.
