Not terribly exciting but on the subject of things 'red and blue' we had a new tv show start this week called 'Rory & Paddy's Great British Adventure'. It's comedians Rory McGrath and Paddy McGuiness touring the UK trying obscure sports...very interesting and funny. Hopefully it will get shown over there.

If it does watch the 1st episode when one thing they do is Cheese Rolling. Teams chase a whole cheese down a very steep hill every year. I videoed it and when they were at the top waiting to start there's a bloke standing just behind them...in a red and blue guernsey. For a split second I thought it might be a Legs one but when I replayed my video I think it's a Demons one.

Yaaaaay my other beautiful redlegged ones are so far unbeaten :D

My Heineken Cup winners have just played Leinster, arch rivals and Magners League winners...yes we play in two leagues at once and provided more than half the Ireland national team :D

Leinster 0
Munster 18 ...finished off in the final couple of minutes with a gorgeous kick and chase try by Kiwi Doug Howlett :D

Another win...played 5 won 5...top of the ladder...Magners League ladder anyway.

Shame the sneaky online broadcast failed (the guy went to the game left it on the wrong tv channel :shock: :roll: so we got a carp film and an Irish quiz show instead LOL) but I'll happily trade seeing the game for a win.

Heineken Cup games start next Friday...BRING IT ON 8)

Need more wine now...tata for now.

Oh woe is me :( ...our first loss this season.

Ulster 22 v Munster 6

My excuse...we fielded what in effect was a reserve side...17 of the regulars have been called up as part of the 41 strong Ireland squad to face the All Blacks....and so we were out classed on the night.

Still, since 23rd August we've now played 10 games (including this one) and won 9 :D

2010 looks like being a big year for West Perth.
Our red n blue brothers in W.A. have won 3 on the trot so far.
Wish we could say the same.
They've knocked off Swan Districts, perennial premiers Subiaco and over the
long weekend accounted for East Perth. Reportedly with a number of star players
missing from their line-ups for various reasons.
If we ask nicely do you think they'll let us borrow a few they don't need ?

Great news SABRE...Go Falcons

Across several ponds my redlegged ones are going ok at the moment. Still have our Aussies in head coach, Tony McGahan and player, Paul Warwick.

Munster are...

2nd in the Magners League (formerly the Celtic League)
Top of Pool 1 and through to the QF's in the Heineken Cup

The Munster A team (like a Ressies team) are in a newly formed tournement against UK 2nd tier clubs from England, Wales and Scotland and are...
